High Canon - Kinsman Ridge loop 02-07

Trails: High Canon - Kinsman Ridge - Fishing Jimmy - Lonesome Lake

Condition: High Canon - well packed, barebooted but spikes coud be helpful. Kinsman Ridge - not much travelled, some sections drifted over, one "interesting" section below junction with High Canon. Fishing Jimmy, Kinsman Lake - mostly well packed with a few drifts near Lonesome Lake.

Equip - we wore microspikes on Kinsman Ridge and Fishing Jimmy, carried snowshoes but did not use them.

Misc - windy and a little cold even though the entire route is below treeline (above treeline must be rough today), winter magic with snowed in trees in places, had a late start and saw just 3 people the entire day, the hut was dark and empty at 5pm.
